Washington Business Bank is pleased to announce that Jon M. Jones, President and CEO, has been elected to The Federal Home Loan Bank (FHLB) of Des Moines board of directors by Washington state FHLB members as the state member representative for a 4-year term commencing January 1, 2021. Washington state members include banks, credit unions and insurance companies.
The FHLB Des Moines board of directors is comprised of both member and independent directorships from the FHLB Des Moines district which includes 13 states and three U.S. Pacific Territories. The FHLB Des Moines is one of 11 regional banks that make up the Federal Home Loan Bank System. The mission of the FHLB Des Moines is to be a reliable provider of funding, liquidity, and services for their members so they can meet the housing, business, and economic development needs of the communities they serve.
